Christmas Food Baskets
On the Saturday before Christmas, gift baskets of food are delivered to neighborhood families. This is a two-month project, involving family registration, the purchasing of food and the organizing of donated food. The last week is spent in the filling and in the delivering of a bushel basket of food to approximately 1,100 families. Many hands are needed for the final phase.
CHRISTMAS BASKET PROJECT 2004
1,000 Christmas Baskets

Last year we has requests for 1,025 baskets and we delivered over 1,110 Christmas
baskets plus turkeys within the geographic boundaries of our parish regardless
of creed. No poor family was refused. This year, for certain, we will need
1,000 baskets again. Providing them is always a massive effort, but thanks
be to God, and thanks to you, it always works. It is one of God's little miracles
in Camden.
