Children's Liturgy

At Sacred Heart, after the opening prayer for Mass, the children in attendance process with the leaders of Children's Liturgy out of church to their own Childrens' Chapel. The children divide into two or three groups by age; each group has its own adult leader.

The Word of God in ways that are appropriate to the ages of the children in the group. We make a great effort to avoid a classroom atmosphere; we create a prayerful and celebratory environment where the children can come to appreciate the Word of God and the ritual of our Sacred Liturgy.
